Frequently asked questions
How many tiles do I need?
Divide the room area by the area of one tile, then add your waste percentage for cuts, edges and breakage.
Why add a waste percentage?
Cutting around walls and obstacles plus occasional breakage typically wastes 10–15%. Ordering extra also avoids color-lot differences later.
Do tile and room units need to match?
Enter the room in feet and the tile in inches — the calculator converts both to square feet before dividing.
